School-Based Services
School-Based Services provides educational opportunities, emotional support, mentoring and after school programs for at-risk kids in Portage County.

The Cooperative Learning Program
CLP is a program for Portage County students grades K-12 who have been removed from the traditional public school system. Students in CLP receive a behaviorally-based program to modify their social interactions and boost their academic ability.

Portage Opportunity School
POS serves students grade 6-12 who have been expelled from the traditional public school system. POS provides them with another opportunity to continue their education, and prepares them to return to their home school if certain goals are met.

Streetsboro Individual Assistance Class
Streetsboro schools created their own unit to educate middle and high school students with special emotional needs. Starting with the 2003-2004 school year, the IAC class will receive mentoring, education and support from Family and Community Services of Portage County, Inc.
