VISITATION MONITOR
PLACE OF PEACE

Evening and weekend hours available. Provides supervision for families who have a history of domestic violence in order to provide a safe place for visitation to occur. Individual will assist in the safe exchange of children from custodial parent to the non-custodial parent and also provide a positive environment to conduct scheduled visits. Experience in social services or a child related field preferred. Must complete background check.

HOUSING SPECIALIST
MILLER COMMUNITY HOUSE


Shift worker/20 to 29 hours per week. Caring and dedicated person to answer support line, conduct assessments and provide advocacy and referrals to community resources. Admits homeless individuals and families to shelter and helps to provide a supportive environment. Provides crisis intervention when required. Assures shelter policies and procedures are followed at all times by residents. Qualifications:  GED, pursuing a degree in social work and/or related field. Willingness to learn client centered model and conflict resolution.  Knowledge of community services.. CPR/First Aid certification, TB immunization. Must pass criminal records check.

SENIOR NUTRITION PROGRAM

The Senior Nutrition Center is seeking an individual to assist with daily preparation and delivery of meals.  Knowledge of food procedures is helpful.  Must be organized, able to follow direction, work independently, and have ability to interact with customers. Must have ability to lift 40 pounds. Valid Ohio driver’s license is needed.  Position is part time, 20 to 25 hours per week. For more information call (330) 296-9211. 

SUBSTITUTE VEHICLE OPERATOR

TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT

Up to 20 hours per week, or as needed. Transport consumers to various locations.  Requires considerable working knowledge of driver safety practices and skills in operation of motor vehicles.  Schedules, inspects, services, and maintains vehicles. Maintains and/or prepares required logs and/or reports. Must conform to and obey all applicable laws, rules and regulations. Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition and subtraction, and in reading, writing and speaking English.  Knowledge of laws, standards, rules and regulations related to the safe operation of a passenger and/or truck-type vehicle. Must possess a valid Ohio driver’s license and be able to be covered under the agency’s insurance. Current CPR and First Aid Certification is required. Must pass a background check.

SAFER FUTURES

 Shift worker, 8 -16 hours per week. Work in a 24 hour shelter facility with direct client contact. Answer           support line, and admit new clients into shelter. No experience required. Must be a high school graduate or equivalent. Must successfully complete background check.  Need to have a good driving record.

 

ASSISTANT TEACHER

ST. JOSEPH CHILD CARE

 Up to 20 hours per week, work 6:15 AM until 1:00 PM , or as needed. Assists in daily activities of preschool,    toddler, or infant children. Responsible for the care, safety and well-being of all children in the group. Assists in planning and implementing program activities and maintaining a safe, clean and pleasant environment. Demonstrates understanding of child growth and development in working with children and communicating with parents. Participates in staff meetings. High School diploma required. Course work in child and program development preferred. Prior experience working with young children preferred.

SENIOR NUTRITION

We are looking for an energetic individual to oversee program and catering as assigned, coordinate all activities for existing congregate sites, home delivered meals and PASSPORT meals, assure quality & timely delivery of meals.  Coordinate catering events. Compile statistics, billing and reports.  Must have mgmt & supervisory skills with the ability to direct & work with staff, supervisors and volunteers using team approach.  Must keep program running in an organized manner, demonstrate abilities in leadership & resource development, have a knowledge of nutrition and food service specs., computer skills and a commitment to quality.  Background in food service and health regulations. required: knowledge of PASSPORT program preferred. Able to lift 40 pounds.  High school diploma or equiv.  Valid Ohio D.L., car insurance. Must be able to pass driving record & crim. background checks. Must be insurable under F&CS Commercial auto insurance.
