TEACHER

St. Joseph Child Care

Part Time, 30 hours per week.7:15 AM – 1:30 PM.  Conducts daily activities of preschool children. Responsible for the care, safety and well being of all children in the group. Plans and implements program activities. Maintains a clean, safe and pleasant environment. Demonstrates increasing understanding of child growth and development in working with children. Records activities and communicates with parents. Participates in staff meetings, complies with agency policies and procedures, regulations, and educational requirements. Assists in supervision of assistant teachers.

Bachelor’s degree or Associate degree in early childhood education preferred. Four years experience working with young children required. Current certifications in first aid, communicable disease recognition, child abuse prevention and child CPR preferred. DRIVERS

Transport consumers to various locations.  Considerable working knowledge of driver safety practices and skills in operation of motor vehicles preferred, will train.  Schedules, inspects, services, and maintains vehicles. Maintains and/or prepares required logs and/or reports. Must conform to and obey all applicable laws, rules and regulations. Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition and subtraction, and in reading, writing and speaking English.  Knowledge of laws, standards, rules and regulations related to the safe operation of a passenger and/or truck-type vehicle. Must possess a valid Ohio driver’s license and be able to be covered under the agency’s insurance. CPR and First Aid Certification is required. Must pass a background check, physical and drug test.  

HOME CARE AIDE

We are looking for reliable and trustworthy individuals to provide a variety of services such as cooking meals, grocery shopping, household chores, providing transportation and assist in grooming to those that need assistance.   Experience in home care preferred.  Must have reliable transportation, pass a driving record and background check and possess a valid driver’s license.  We provide service 24 hrs/day; 7 days/week so must be able to work flexible hours.
